This is how the ARIONE MARIO winery was founded in Canelli (Piedmont) in 1953.
At the beginning the most important activities were done with private local customers ; soon, thanks to an ever higher demand of wine, the Arione Mario winery widened its business to neighbouring areas, becoming supplier both of domestic clients and retail business.
Over the years, the passage from one generation to the next has allowed the company to evolve and to meet the increasing needs of the wine market.
Thus, today the ARIONE MARIO winery has become an important national and international competitor, thanks to the application of new technologies and larger areas in the wine production.
Today, after more than 60 years, the third generation represented by the grandson of the founder, also called Mario, continues to develop the traditional family wine activity, combining innovation with respect for the old traditions.
The product portfolio of the ARIONE MARIO Winery is wide and consist mainly of Piedmontese and local wines, but the historical backgound and expertise in this sector has allowed the production of also other Italian DOC (designed of origin)
or IGP (registered geographical indication) wines .
The ARIONE MARIO Winery guarantees high-performance levels in every step of the production process due also to the direct supervision of the owner himself.
The ability in terms of customization on private labels enables the company to satisfy different consumer needs.
